The 6.5L is a substantially strong engine design and is capable of far greater performance than it delivers in factory-stock form. Our components alter fueling, timing, boost, increased glow plug time for better starts and revised idle speed for smoother operation. This vastly improves engine combustion efficiency, adding approximately 65 hp and 150 lb/ft torque along with improved fuel economy. These components combine to transform your 6.5L into a very respectable performer and great towing vehicle.
You will need to provide us with the following information when ordering:
Transmission Type: Automatic or Manual
Injection Pump Model: 5067, 5068, 5288, 5459, or 5521 (See photo below for locating the pump model #)
Desired level of performance: Performance Tow or Max Effort
Locating the DS4 Injection Pump Model Number
The DS4 injection pump model number is located on the first line of the tag attached to the back of the injection pump. It will read as "DS4831-xxxx", with those last four digits being the pump model number:
Note: Will not work in conjunction with mechanical fuel pump models.
