The Wastegate control solenoid is a common failure point, and will cause a loss of power, excessive black exhaust smoke and throw a P0243 diagnostic trouble code.

This part is the original OEM wastegate solenoid. We encourage our customers to replace the OEM wastegate solenoid with our Rotomaster Wastegate Solenoid Plug (part# H1353701N). The Rotomaster Plug alleviates solenoid failure by by-passing the electronics to function on the turbo's air-pressure as it should - never having to replace another faulty sensor again.
