Flight Systems quality replacement PMD - 1994-2003 GMC 6.5L Turbo Diesel
This is NOT the same PMD as the original Stanadyne "Black PMD". This is a new design by Flight Systems Electronics Group which offers superior quality and longevity compared to any of the previous Stanadyne black or gray PMD's.

NOTES:
• A new resistor is required with this PMD. #7 or #9 replacement resistors are available.
• If you are replacing a gray PMD, then you WILL NEED the 40" Extension Cable (#1036530) or the 72" Extension Cable (#1036531) to adapt your harness to this PMD.
• If you are replacing a Black PMD, then your current harness will work and no adapter is needed.
• For best results, we recommend purchasing the complete 6.5L Cooler Kit (#65COOLER) which has everything that you need.

A complete redesign and product upgrade has been made for this critical component. This electronic device is mounted on the side of the DS Fuel Injection pumps for the General Motors Diesel applications. Many features were improved upon from the original O.E. design. Components were changed to adhere to the harsher environments that caused the O.E. design to fail.
