This Mahel Wave-Stopper head gasket is probably the best head gasket you can buy for your GM 6.6L Duramax. This head gasket is designed with concentric waves in the spring steel layer around the combustion chamber. This alloys the head gasket tp adapt to varying loads and preussures. Really important if your truck has beeen modified and/or you work your truck like it was designed to used. You will need to purchase part #54597 to cover the left side cylinder head.
