Valve body upgrades are for owners trying to clean up shift quality, clutch apply, and line pressure issues inside the transmission. On newer GM trucks, the 10L1000 gets a lot of attention because tuning and towing can expose weak calibration and pressure control.

Common transmission upgrades here include valve bodies, valve body kits, separator plates, solenoids, and hydraulic improvements. SunCoast and Next Gen style 10L1000 searches belong here, but older diesel automatics also benefit from the right valve body work.
