One of the most frequent issues associated with these trucks is that of a dead pedal, or random surging stemming from a problematic throttle position sensor. This is a direct replacement throttle position sensor for the 1998.5-2004 trucks where the TPS is located below the intake manifold.

This sensor will work on both the automatic and manual transmission. Installation, adjustment and calibration procedures are included with the sensor.

Note: This is the sensor ONLY. The bracket and lever are NOT included. See part numbers: AP63427 and AP63428 if replacement of the complete assembly is required.
