You can easily remove the Air Intake Heater (AIH) and increase your intake airflow. If your Intake Heater Relay has failed or your Air Intake Heater (AIH) has stopped working, then you may want to eliminate it altogether and use this plug to seal off the hole. This is a simple operation that only takes a few minutes and can be quickly and easily reversed if needed. Most customers report that this will not affect cold starting as long as your glow plug system is working properly.

Removing/disconnecting the AIH will cause a Check Engine Light that can be turned off with EFI Live. Please call us for details on that.
