The BD AS69RC Aisin ProForce 10D Torque Converter is designed for heavy hauling, modified 6.7L Cummins Diesel equipped RAMs! This multi-disc torque converter has been built with a 20% thicker billet cover, a billet apply piston, a billet clutch hub, and increased clutch count to 10 friction surfaces (5 friction plates and 5 steel plates). The heavy-duty cover and piston increase strength for reliable operation when facing increased loads and apply pressures, while the increased clutch count creates 67% more torque holding capacity. By utilizing the OEM clutch damper assembly and captured clutch technology, all the strength and performance benefits can be achieved while maintaining smooth factory drivability. Avoiding the common harsh engagement of typical heavy duty torque converter clutches. Assembled to OEM standards, the BD AS69RC Aisin ProForce 10D torque converter ensures reliability in high-torque applications for years to come.
