The 1994-97 Ford Powerstroke OEM turbochargers are basically slow to go. This Borg-Warner direct replacement Ultra Quick Spool turborcharger is great for those who tow or off road applications. The .84 turbine housing is very responsive on the low end but it can limit you a little on the top end. Not reccomended with performance injectors. Truck will run hot EGT's. Reccomended for the work truck that pulls loads every day. 

As stated before this is a .84 (Ultra-Quick) turbine housing and, for reference, the stock OEM housing is a 1.15. We also offer a 1.00 (Quick-Spool) turbine housing under part # 170310 if you are looking for a turbocharger right in the middle.
