If you are looking to simply protect your diesel against the normal wear and tear of operation, then lubricity is the key. Even if you are running a performance formula with some lubricity already, an extra dose can go a long way. For new diesels and especially for older diesels the recommended dose in every-other tank of fuel is a great protection. If you also want to run the performance formula, alternate between the two every tank of fuel.
