CP3 Pump

The LB7 CP3 pump is the high-pressure fuel pump that feeds the common rail system on 2001-2004 Duramax trucks. Low rail pressure, hard starts, and power loss can point toward the CP3, but supply pressure and injector return rates should still be checked before blaming the pump.

Choices range from LB7 CP3 pumps and stock replacements to 10mm CP3 upgrades, regulators, and install-related fuel system parts. If injectors are already being replaced, it is a good time to inspect the rest of the high-pressure fuel system.
