The Heavy Hauler 6.7 Cummins Common Rail Long Block is built for demanding work trucks, towing applications, and high-horsepower builds. Rated for up to 700 HP, this long block features a D&J Stage 1 High-Performance Cylinder Head, a street/towing camshaft for improved airflow and fuel efficiency, and custom ARP 9/16” head studs for superior head-to-block sealing. Each engine undergoes CNC blueprinting, precision machining, and extensive quality control to ensure unmatched durability and performance. Fully assembled with an oil pan, front cover, rocker box, and pre-lubed with break-in oil, this long block is ready to handle the toughest applications. Manufactured by D&J Precision Machine, this engine is designed for reliability, power, and efficiency.

  • Comprehensive Inspection: Disassembled, crack-checked, blasted, and cleaned before machining.
  • Precision Machining: CNC bored, line bored, surfaced as needed, and torque plate honed to exact specifications.
  • Custom ARP Head Studs: 9/16" head studs provide the best head-to-block seal possible.
  • High-Performance Cylinder Head: D&J Stage 1 Performance Cylinder Heads are disassembled, crack-checked, fitted with extra-large heavy-duty seats, machined for thread-in soft plugs, and 5-axis CNC ported. Each head undergoes a CNC high-performance valve job and is pressure-checked before assembly and painting.
  • Blueprinted and Balanced: All engines are blueprinted, balanced, oil clearance measured, and rings file fit.
  • Pre-lubed and Painted: Engines are painted black and shipped pre-lubed with break-in oil and filter included.
  • Machined Rocker Box and Pedestals: Ensures a precise fit and optimal performance.
  • Rated for up to 700 HP - Designed for demanding work applications, though high-horsepower tuning is not recommended for heavy towing
  • Street/Towing Performance Camshaft - Lowers EGTs by 200-300 degrees, improving efficiency and fuel economy

  • Due to the nature of the extensive work required by the installer, we cannot cover warranties related to oil contamination or lack of oil pressure on start-up. It is crucial to ensure proper installation and initial start-up procedures to avoid these issues.
 

Core Returns

Cores must include usable block, crank, cylinder head, rocker bases, oil pan and bolts, pickup tube, timing gear housing, timing gear housing cover and bolts, rear seal housing and bolts, piston cooling nozzles, lower rocker box, and bolts. Freight charge for core return will be deducted from the core charge.

You can tell if you have a Early 2004 or Late 2004.5 Cummins by checking the engine's horsepower rating, which is printed on the valve cover sticker; 305hp indicates an early 2004, while 325hp indicates a 2004.5. Alternatively, check the turbo's wastegate (electronic for 2004.5, mechanical for early 2004) or the location of the throttle position sensor (at the pedal for 2004.5, near the intake horn for early 2004).
