The Ready Run Reman Engine is designed to provide reliable and efficient performance for your diesel engine needs. This engine starts with the Precision Plus Reman Long Block and adds a host of BD components to prepare it for installation. Including a complete high-pressure fuel system, from the CP3 pump all the way to the injectors, as well as a turbo and manifold! A new water pump and valve cover complete the package. Each engine is meticulously built with precision and care, ensuring quality and peace of mind for those seeking exceptional performance. 

LONG BLOCK

  • Comprehensive Inspection: Each engine is disassembled, crack checked, inspected, and all threaded holes are tapped, blasted, and cleaned before machining.
  • Precision Machining: CNC blueprinted, bored, honed, and deck surfaced. Each crankshaft is checked for straightness and size and repaired as needed.
  • Thorough Cleaning: Blocks are meticulously cleaned and inspected to ensure the highest quality. Bearing clearances, piston-to-wall clearance, piston protrusion, deck, and hone surfaces are all measured. All pistons and rods are double-checked for proper spec, and ring gaps are corrected as needed.
  • Controlled Assembly: Assembled in a clean room by skilled technicians, ensuring top quality.
  • High-Precision Cylinder Head: Disassembled, crack-checked, with stock seats replaced by heavy-duty valve seats. CNC high-precision valve job performed with Newen seat and guide machine. Cleaned, inspected, assembled, and pressure-checked.
  • Every long block assembled with quality ARP 2000 studs for a reliable head to block seal.

BD MANIFOLD

  • Two-piece high silicon ductile iron to withstand extreme exhaust gas temperatures.
  • Grade 10.9, black oxide-coated bolts, and spacers.
  • Pre-drilled for pyrometer probes.

BD TURBOCHARGER

  • Wastegate preset for drop in functionality.
  • Brand new and VSR high speed balanced for long term reliability.

BD HIGH PRESSURE FUEL SYSTEM

  • Remanufactured by Bosch trained technicians for quality assurance.
  • Remanufactured CP3 injection pump with new metering unit installed.
  • Fuel injectors and CP3 pumps tested on a Bosch 815 test bench to ensure correct operation in all conditions.

You can tell if you have a Early 2004 or Late 2004.5 Cummins by checking the engine's horsepower rating, which is printed on the valve cover sticker; 305hp indicates an early 2004, while 325hp indicates a 2004.5. Alternatively, check the turbo's wastegate (electronic for 2004.5, mechanical for early 2004) or the location of the throttle position sensor (at the pedal for 2004.5, near the intake horn for early 2004).
