The stock turbine housing on the 1989-1993 Dodge Cummins 5.9L causes significant turbo lag due to its slow spool-up. Our 16cm Performance Turbine Housing reduces this lag, leading to quicker off-the-line power and enhanced mid-range performance.

The 18cm housing on the 1989-90 5.9L 6BTA Cummins is somewhat oversized, leading to turbo lag, which can be effectively reduced by switching to a 16cm housing.

The 1991-93 engines have a 20cm housing which results in significant turbo lag. By installing the non waste-gated 16cm housing, higher boost pressure and a set of performance injectors can result in up to 210 hp and 22 psi of boost pressure.
