The 1994-97 Ford Powerstroke OEM turbochargers are basically slow to go. This Borg-Warner direct replacement Quick Spool turborcharger is a great replacement for the laggy stock turbo. The 1.0 turbine housing has greater response than the stock 1.15 housing. That OBS will actually get up and go!

As stated before this is a 1.00 (Quick-Spool) turbine housing and, for reference, the stock OEM housing is a 1.15. We also offer a .84 (Ultra-Quick-Spool) turbine housing under part # 170290 if you are looking for even faster spool up for towing and offroad applications.
