The Stage 2 6R140 is our most popular transmission for the 2017-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke, designed to handle up to 800 horsepower. Built with heavy-duty components, this transmission is engineered for maximum durability, reliability, and performance. Whether you’re towing heavy loads or putting your truck through its paces, the Stage 2 6R140 is ready for the challenge.

Key upgrades include a modified valve body with oil flow enhancements, upgraded Raybestos or ALTO G3 clutches, and a billet overdrive piston with high return springs for greater strength. Paired with our in-house built captive clutch torque converter, this unit offers improved lockup, giving you better acceleration and pulling power.

Transmission Specs:

•Heavy-duty captive clutch custom stall converter for improved lockup and pulling power

•Modified factory valve body with oil mods for improved fluid flow

•Raybestos or ALTO G3 powerpack steel and friction module for enhanced durability

•Billet overdrive piston with high return springs for added strength

•Heavy Duty cast aluminum deep pan for better fluid capacity and cooling

•New filter, gaskets, and seals for a complete rebuild

Warranty Information  

2 Year unlimited mile limited warranty
2 Year unlimited mile limited warranty will not cover broken cases or shafts of transmission. Abuse, misuse, or burn down due to operator error will void warranty. Any warranty work must be performed at Randy’s Transmissions in Tooele UT. It is the vehicle owner’s responsibility to ship transmission or vehicle to Randy’s location for any and all repairs needing to be performed. Any repairs to transmission not authorized by Randy’s Transmissions will void warranty and will not be covered by Randy’s Transmissions.


HOT SHOT AND PLOW TRUCK DRIVERS: WARRANTY IS 12 MONTH / 12,000 MILES.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE INSTALLING A TRANSMISSION YOURSELF, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE TRANSMISSION COOLER FLUSHED BY A PROFESSIONAL PRIOR TO TRANSMISSION INSTALL. FAILURE TO DO SO, MAY RESULT IN CONTAMINATED FLUID AND OLD MATERIAL GETTING INTO THE NEW UNIT.
POURING ATF THROUGH THE COOLER IS NOT SUFFICIENT ENOUGH.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO READ ANY LITERATURE THAT MAY COME WITH YOUR TRANSMISSION OR OTHER COMPONENT REGARDING ADDITIONAL STEPS THAT MUST BE TAKEN IN ORDER FOR A PROPER INSTALLATION & FUNCTION OF THE UNIT.

For the first 90 days of warranty Randy's will pay Shipping to shops due to a covered failure. R&R labor at this time is a case-by-case basis. Fluids and incidentals are not covered.
