2003-2007 6.0L Ford Power Stroke

The 6.0 Power Stroke usually gets judged by its failures, but the platform is far more manageable once the common weak points are understood. Injector stiction, FICM problems, oil cooler restriction, EGR failures, and turbo sticking are the repairs that show up most often on higher-mileage trucks.

Most 6.0 repairs eventually overlap into multiple systems instead of staying isolated to one part. Fuel system components, turbochargers, FICMs, injectors, exhaust parts, tuners, and remanufactured engines are all common once reliability work starts piling up.
