BD Valve Body for 2001 - 2004 Chevy GMC 6.6L Duramax LB7 with Allison 1000 Transmission

Part # 1030470

Prevents Clutch Slippage for Reduced Wear, Better Shifting!

The Allison 1000 is a great transmission, but it has its shortcomings, particularly in high-performance, heavy-duty use applications. BD can help improve the life of your transmission as well as improve its performance with one of our modified Allison valve bodies. First, all of the mating surfaces are lapped to remove surface irregularities that can cause oil “cross flow”, clutch pack pressure loss, slippage, irregular shifting and error codes. Then, we install new trim valves that allow the mainline pressure to be increased, which creates more clamping force on the clutch plates.

Our Allison valve bodies are available on an exchange basis, which saves time over installing a valve body reprogramming kit. In less than two hours, you can be back on the road, enjoying reliable transmission performance. The BD Allison valve body is a must for trucks that tow moderate loads or racers who have made power increases of 90 to 120 rear wheel horsepower. For heavy loads or extreme power, we recommend further transmission modifications or a complete BD performance Allison transmission and converter, also available on an exchange basis.
