The 3916127 is a genuine OEM engine block heater element used in 5.9L 12-valve Cummins diesel engines (commonly found in 1989–1998 Dodge Ram trucks) as well as select 3.9L ISB/QSB industrial applications.
It is a freeze-plug style application that warms the engine coolant in freezing weather to allow easier cold starts and faster cabin warm-ups.
