Bearing clearances, piston-to-wall clearance, piston protrusion, deck, and hone surfaces are all measured. All pistons and rods are double-checked for proper spec, and ring gaps are corrected as needed.
• Controlled Assembly: Assembled in a clean room by skilled technicians, ensuring top quality.
• High-Precision Cylinder Head: Disassembled, crack-checked, with stock seats replaced by heavy-duty valve seats. CNC high-precision valve job performed with Newen seat and guide machine. Cleaned, inspected, assembled, and pressure-checked.

You can tell if you have a Early 2004 or Late 2004.5 Cummins by checking the engine's horsepower rating, which is printed on the valve cover sticker; 305hp indicates an early 2004, while 325hp indicates a 2004.5. Alternatively, check the turbo's wastegate (electronic for 2004.5, mechanical for early 2004) or the location of the throttle position sensor (at the pedal for 2004.5, near the intake horn for early 2004).
