FASS Fuel Filter # FF-2003 has been discontinued and replaced with filter # FWS-3003, which utilizes a different thread that is more widely used in the filter industry.
If your FASS already came with the new # FWS-3003 fuel filter, then you already have the new style FASS and no further parts are needed when replacing your filters.
If your FASS originally came with a # FF-2003 or # FF-5712 filter, then you will need to buy a FASS Nipple Adapter # FSN-2001 so that the new filter (# FWS-3003) will fit properly. You will only have to purchase this adapter once since it can be re-used when replacing filters in the future.
