This overhaul kit comprised of UEM Dualoy pistons/rings with MAHLE/Clevite/Powerstroke Products & Ford seals and bearings. All Dualoy pistons feature a high strength top ring carrier to improve strength of the top load land, and resistance to extreme heat of diesel engines. Both UEM and Mahle/Clevite are the leading parts manufactures in the country. Both companies have a long history of providing quality parts to the OEM manufacturers, Motorsports market, and the Automotive Aftermarket. You wont find a better kit anywhere!
We've given you the choice of Head Gasket kits with this bundle. Either a set by Power Stroke Products or MAHLE Aftermaket. It's true that MAHLE is an industry standard, but Power Stroke Products has shown that they can provide a great quality kit at a much more affordable price. We'll let you decide.
We do recommend replacement of the engine oil cooler assembly, a common failure point on the 6.7L Power Stroke.
Head Studs are also highly recommended on any engine rebuilt.
