Randy's Transmissions
Billet Filter Adapter For The 68RFE Spin-On Filter - 68RFE-G103
2007.5 - 2026 Dodge RAM 68RFE Transmission
Note: Deep Pan Required
Part # 68RFE-G121
The Randy’s Reusable Billet Spin-On Filter replaces the factory disposable unit with a serviceable billet aluminum housing and washable mesh filter cartridge that can be cleaned and reused during routine maintenance. Less waste, fewer replacement filters, and one less part you’ll need to keep buying.
The housing is machined from billet aluminum instead of the thin stamped construction found in traditional disposable filters.
Not only does it look better, but it was built to be taken apart, cleaned, and put back into service again and again.
Finished in red anodizing, it’s a small detail that stands out every time you’re servicing your 68.
And its made from aircraft grade aluminum for dependability when you’re going Mach 1
Inside the housing is a serviceable 100-micron filter cartridge designed to capture debris while allowing maximum fluid flow to the torque converter.
What makes this filter special is that it lets you keep an eye on the health of your transmission and torque converter. Simply inspect the filter during service to spot debris or contaminants that could indicate wear
before a small problem becomes a big one.
Rather than replacing the entire filter assembly during service, simply remove the cartridge, clean it, allow it to dry completely, and reinstall it.
It’s a simple concept, but one that can save money over the life of the truck.
The filter features an internal drain-back valve to help keep fluid where it’s supposed to be when the truck is shut off.
It’s one of those details most people will never see, but details matter when you’re building parts that are meant to last.
If you’ve ever fought with a filter that didn’t want to come apart, or a broken plastic filter adapter, you’ll appreciate the little details we put into this.
We machined the filter head with an integrated billet filter screw – which allows 30% more flow.
Machined knurling around the filter head provides extra grip during installation and removal, while the hex-shaped bottom cap makes accessing the filter cartridge straightforward when it’s time for service.
When cleaning the filter cartridge, do not use compressed air.
Compressed air can damage the filter media. We recommend using an aerosol parts cleaner such as brake cleaner to wash the cartridge. Once cleaned, allow the filter to dry completely before reinstalling.
