Radiator & Cooling

The 2011-2016 Ford 6.7 cooling system has a few areas owners pay close attention to: oil coolers, upper radiator hoses, coolant reroute kits, and radiator upgrades. Trucks that tow or idle a lot can show high oil temps or coolant flow issues before a complete failure happens.

Most owners compare lift-pump pressure, injector health, and turbo response together because problems in one area usually affect how the entire truck drives under load. If the upper hose is already being replaced, inspect the nearby fittings and coolant connections while everything is accessible.
