A CP4 bypass kit does not make the factory pump stronger. What it does is help limit where metal goes if the pump starts coming apart, which can save injectors, rails, and lines from getting contaminated.
CP4 bypass kits are built specifically for 2020-2026 Ford 6.7 Power Stroke trucks still running the factory high-pressure pump. A lot of owners install them as preventative protection because a failed CP4 can contaminate injectors, rails, and lines before there is much warning.
