SEVERE DUTY - HIGH PERFORMANCE - DIESEL PISTON RING SET

Total Seal’s exclusive new Diesel Ring Designs help these engines unleash their full potential by greatly improving efficiency while increasing horsepower and torque. They are ideal for OE rebuilds, towing and industrial apps, street performance, and all the way to 1,000 HP engines for full on competition. The new sets are available in Gapless® 2nd, or Conventional 2nd Ring configurations, depending on your application.

Top and 2nd rings are crafted from Martensic Ductile Iron, the highest strength iron available. The rings are additionally heat treated and coated with CrN (Chromium Nitride), resulting in a very hard surface that is extremely
resistant to corrosion. The result is increased durability and reduced wear.

Gapless® Second Ring – Patented Total Seal Gapless® design reduces blow-by which results in increased HP, reduced turbo lag, and increased oil longevity.

In a recent dyno test conducted by Wagler Competition Products, a mild, street-tuned 600hp Wagler 6.7L Streetfighter engine saw 10hp gains across the test rpm range when using Total Seal® Gapless® Rings compared to standard rings. Additional HP gains of up to 35hp were made as the engine was tuned to higher boost and HP levels.

When tuned to a maximum boost level of 64.9, engine blow-by dropped by 3.21CFM, and .16PSI when using Total Seal® Gapless Rings compared to standard rings.
