Restore factory fuel delivery and performance with the Alliant Power AP63903AD New HEUI Fuel Injector for 1999.5-2003 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke and Navistar T444E diesel engines. Built to OE specifications and tested to rigorous quality standards, this injector delivers dependable performance, smooth operation, and long-lasting reliability.

Important Injector Identification Information

Ford 7.3L Power Stroke engines produced from 1999.5-2003 may be equipped with either:

  • Eight (8) AD-code injectors, or
  • Seven (7) AD-code injectors and one (1) AE-code "Long Lead" injector

Beginning in late 2000 production, Ford introduced the AE Long Lead injector in the #8 cylinder position to address the well-known 7.3L Power Stroke "cackle" noise. The AE injector features a modified calibration that compensates for the greater distance between the High-Pressure Oil Pump (HPOP) and the rear #8 cylinder.

Because some vehicles were updated before Ford adopted the AE injector in production, injector configuration can vary. To verify which injector your engine requires, the valve cover must be removed and the injector code inspected.

If the #8 injector is marked "AE" or "LL" (Long Lead), use:

  • Reman Injector: AP63904AE
  • New Injector: AP63804AE
