Alliant Power AE Code Long Lead New Fuel Injector #8 Cylinder | 1999.5-2003 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke
Restore smooth performance and eliminate the infamous 7.3L Power Stroke "cackle" with this genuine Alliant Power AE Code Long Lead New HEUI Fuel Injector. Designed specifically for the Number 8 cylinder, this injector incorporates Ford's updated long-lead calibration to compensate for the greater distance between the #8 cylinder and the High-Pressure Oil Pump (HPOP).
On 2000-2003 7.3L Power Stroke engines, the rear #8 cylinder was prone to oil-fill delays that could create a distinctive knocking or "cackle" noise during operation. Ford addressed this issue with the AE-code injector, featuring modified internal oil passages and injection timing characteristics to improve fuel delivery, reduce noise, and enhance engine smoothness.
