At the center of the Stealth STR is a 62.5mm 7+7-blade extended-tip billet compressor wheel precision-machined from aerospace-grade 2618 aluminum alloy. This lightweight compressor provides significantly more airflow than the stock wheel while maintaining quick throttle response and a wide efficiency range. Its advanced blade design helps eliminate compressor surge, even when towing or operating the engine at low RPM under heavy load.

The Stealth STR provides enough airflow to support approximately 625 rear-wheel horsepower with factory emissions equipment retained. When paired with basic supporting modifications, the turbo can produce approximately 80–100 additional RWHP compared to tuning alone. It also works with factory tuning, box programmers, inline modules, and properly calibrated custom tuning.

On the exhaust side, an upgraded 65mm 9-blade turbine wheel manufactured from heat-resistant 713C nickel alloy improves exhaust flow and durability. Compared to the factory 62.5mm turbine exducer, the larger 65mm design reduces backpressure and drive pressure while improving EGT control under load. The 9-blade turbine also produces a noticeable Stealth turbo whistle.

The compressor and turbine wheels create a rotating assembly approximately 6% lighter than stock. This reduced rotating mass allows the turbo to spool quickly and provide immediate throttle response while increasing overall turbocharger efficiency.

A machine-ported exhaust housing features a larger outlet designed to match the upgraded turbine wheel. This improves post-turbine exhaust flow, reduces backpressure, and allows the larger turbine assembly to operate more efficiently.

Manufactured from brand-new components, the Stealth STR installs directly in the factory turbo location, maintains a stock-style appearance, and requires no core return.

Important Actuator Information

The turbocharger actuator is not included with CPS200143.

The original factory actuator can normally be reused if it is in good working condition and is not producing actuator-related trouble codes. New replacement actuators are also available separately.

The actuator must be professionally calibrated after installation using the stock minimum and maximum vane-position tables. Operating the turbo with modified vane-position tables can create excessive exhaust pressure or boost, potentially damaging the turbocharger or engine and voiding the manufacturer’s warranty.

Important Notes

This turbocharger can be installed on a stock truck without performance tuning. However, proper tuning and supporting modifications may be required to achieve advertised horsepower levels.

Custom tuning must retain the factory minimum and maximum vane-position tables. Damage resulting from modified vane-position tuning is not covered by the manufacturer.

Actual horsepower and boost will vary based on tuning, fuel delivery, supporting modifications, vehicle condition, elevation, and dyno type. Professional installation and actuator calibration are strongly recommended.
